The color plates were reproduced in black and white in 1804. An etching in colors (in relief) sold at Christie’s, lot #1 on 03.May.1999 for $18,000, against an estimate of $20,000-$30,000.; Print etchings form Song of Innocence sell very well. On 01.Nov.2007 Sotheby’s. The Shepherd (Plate 4) for $90,000 (against an estimate of $35,000-$45,000, size is 4 1/3” x 2.75”); The Little Blake Boy (Plate 11) for $160,000 (against an estimate of $45,000-$65,000, size of each of the two etchings that make up this relief is unlisted); The divine Image (Plate 17) for $100,000 (against an estimate of $5,000-$10,000, size is 4 1/3” x 2 5/8”); and Cradle Song (Plate 24) for $95,000 (against an estimate of $10,000-$15,000, size of each of the two etchings that make up this relief is unlisted).
