Ambroise Vollard had 21 of Degas’s canceled etching plates printed in 1919-20, in an edition of 150 on Japan paper with the intention of publishing them as part of a book on Degas, but this publication was never realized. This impression may or may not be from this printing, as there are additional impressions known."
